What is a laser bra? West County Plastic Surgeons is the first practice in St. Louis to offer the Laser Bra, an innovative laser-assisted breast lift procedure designed to help improve breast shape, position and firmness. During a Laser Bra procedure, the surgeon removes excess, stretched skin below the nipple. This flap of skin, treated with the laser, is used to create an internal bra that lifts the breast internally into a more youthful position and shape. Use of a laser reduces blood loss and shortens anesthesia times, which may speed recovery.
A laser bra is often combined with other procedures that may include:
Combining breast augmentation with other procedures can be performed efficiently and safely. Anesthesia: A laser bra is usually performed with the patient under general anesthesia.

Visible bruising should clear up within 2 weeks, and swelling begins to resolve within 2 weeks.
